Eek! Your trip is just around the riverbend, Cindy. A split stay sounds like a great plan; it's a fun way to explore the different offerings at the
Disney Resort hotels. One of the best deals at Disney World is purchasing Resort-refillable mugs. Let's get into everything you need to know about them!
A Resort-refillable mug is super convenient for Guests who stay on property. Instead of paying for drink after drink, you simply purchase a 16-ounce mug and then you can use it for the length of your stay (up to 14 days). Yes, this means that even when you move to another room--or even another hotel--during your vacation, you can keep your trusty mug for unlimited refills. Kinda great, right?! If your trip extends past the 14-day mark, you will need to purchase another mug because the mug's chip won't work anymore.
Keep in mind that you can only refill your mug at the stations while at the Resort hotels. They can't be refilled while at the theme parks. You'll want to have a plan for those outings. I like to keep a water bottle (disposable or reusable) on hand while hitting the
Disney Parks.
AN EXTRA GEM: There are many quick service restaurants and kiosks where you can get free cups of water at the theme parks and
water parks. Just ask a friendly Cast Member and they'll help you with that. Sometimes, during the warmer summer days, there are water stations set up for Guests to serve themselves.
