Hi Lindsey!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like your Lightning Lane booking window is about to open up, so let’s get straight to the answer!
As long as both resorts you’re staying at are
Disney World resorts (or select good neighbor hotels) and the reservations are consecutive, you should be able to book all of your
Lightning Lanes for your trip at once, pending availability. So, plan for your Lightning Lane booking window to open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your first resort check-in date.
I recommend being on your
My Disney Experience app as soon as that booking window opens to give yourself the best chance at getting the Lightning Lanes you’re hoping for. Each park day will be a separate booking process and transaction. So, I’ve found that booking the Lightning Lanes toward the end of my trip first, then working my way backward, gives me a better chance at snagging some of those harder-to-get Lightning Lanes.
The only time I veer from that strategy is if there’s a very high-priority attraction during one of my earlier park days. Then, I’ll complete that day first before moving to the strategy of booking the park days at the end of my trip.
If there’s no availability for a Lightning Lane you had your heart set when your booking window opens, remember that you can always try to modify your Lightning Lanes leading up to your trip and even on your park day. While it’s not guaranteed, it’s worth checking here and there to see if anything pops up.
I hope that helps! Have the BEST trip! We’ll see you real soon!
