Hi Robert! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
The long-awaited transformation of the iconic mountain in Frontierland at Disneyland Park into
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is not quite finished, unfortunately. I'm sorry if you were looking forward to heading down to the bayou on this visit. Hopefully, we'll be enjoying this thrilling new adventure soon. From what I've seen from Walt Disney World Resort where the Attraction is currently in previews, it looks like a joyful experience. Maybe a little soggy too!
We don't yet have a date for opening at Disneyland Resort. I'd watch Tiana's Bayou Adventure page for an update. Also, follow the
Disney Parks Blog, the official news source for the parks. They're likely to make an official announcement when the reopening draws near. That way, you can be one of the first to enjoy the fun of splashing down in the bayou with an admission ticket and theme park reservation.
You can get a taste of New Orleans at
Tiana's Palace in New Orleans Square. The theming inside this Quick Service dining spot is really special, truly fit for a princess, and it's one of the spots in Disneyland Resort where you can snag some tasty beignets. My boys could eat beignets all day at the parks. We start the day with coffee and beignets of the Mickey-shaped variety from nearby Mint Julep Bar. There's no reason you can't top those off with filled beignets from Tiana's Palace for lunch or dinner.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
