Hi Kari! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
This type of mobile device chest harness should be okay for entry into the parks. It's always up to the discretion of security, but these harnesses aren't on the list of
prohibited items for Disneyland Resort. I imagine it will be fine for you to wear the harness on most if not all Attractions, but there is no list of approved Attractions for this type of device. I can't give you a hard and fast answer on that one.
So, it's important you follow the guidance of Cast Members. You can always show the harness and ask if it would be all right for you to wear it and film. The Cast Member might need to determine if the device is secure. This is for Guest safety. If there are rules about filming, such as lightning use, be sure to follow those rules as well, as you don't want to adversely affect other Guests' experiences.
Some Attractions also offer
PhotoPass photos snapped of Guests as they're riding. You'll have a memory of the ride without any effort on your part. You'll find these photos displayed on monitors at the end of the ride on the following Attractions: Space Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, the Incredicoaster in Pixar Pier, Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission BREAKOUT! in Avengers Campus, and Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park. Hopefully, when
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Frontierland at Disneyland Park opens, it will also feature PhotoPass. Just enter the ID number on the monitor displaying your photo into the
Disneyland mobile app to link your photo.
Currently, PhotoPass downloads are included with your purchase of Genie+, which allows Guests to spend less time waiting in queues and more time focused on the magic of their Disneyland Resort vacation. What a great perk! I love Disney's PhotoPass Service because as the photographer in my family, I appreciate being in the picture on our vacations.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
