Hello, Keely! We're glad you brought your question to planDisney. I see your countdown calendar is down to double digits...EEK!
Known for its Victorian architecture and elegance,
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are the
practically perfect place to call your "home away from home." I have an upcoming vacation in these villas myself, and I love that they sit on the shores of the picturesque Seven Seas Lagoon while still being located in the heart of the magic. I know you're going to have a fabulous time staying here!
I understand the disappointment you feel; making your
Advanced Dining Reservations is one of the best parts of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. However, don't despair! Keep checking your My Disney Experience account since guests drop reservations all the time.
Dining reservations must be canceled 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee, so often, you will see more availability in the few days leading up to your trip due to last-minute cancelations. Sometimes, I'll also enlist the help of a Reservation Finder Tool. This is not something offered through Disney, but you'll find several options, including free and paid versions if you do an internet search. You'll receive instant text or email alerts when tables open up at your desired dining location; just be nimble and quick, as the reservations will book up fast.
My family always enjoys eating at our resort hotel for the ultimate convenience. This is especially great for dinner when you can walk back to your room after a satisfying meal!
Narcoossee's,
Cítricos, and the
Grand Floridian Cafe are three of my favorite places on property, and I recommend that you add them to your list of must-dos!
I hope it all works out and that you have a magical vacation, Keely!
