We are spending 1 night pre and 5 nights post cruise at the same resort (CBR or Coronado). We were hoping to leave the luggage for the 2nd part of our trip at the hotel, and only take what we need for the cruise. Is this possible?

    Hey Amy!

Thanks for writing back!  Combining a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort with your cruise vacation is the ultimate Disney experience!  Having several days after your cruise to make some wonderful Disney memories on land will be the icing on the cake to your adventure!  Unfortunately, Disney does require you to keep your luggage with you at all times.  I completely understand not wanting to bring all your suitcases along, but this is the policy for all land and sea Guests.  I do recommend packing light since there are laundry facilities both at Coronado and on the ship.  With the spacious accommodations onboard, there is plenty of room to store your belongings.  Also, if you are using Disney transportation to the port and back, the Disney castmembers will make sure your luggage arrives safely at your stateroom door on the day of embarkation and back at Coronado after disembarkation.  It should be a hassle-free experience because of how easy Disney makes it to transition from land to sea and sea to land! Remember, each Guest is allowed one carry-on and two suitcases.

I hope my suggestions help and everything goes smoothly with your surf and turf adventure!  If you think of any of other pre-cruise questions, please let me know!  I'm happy to help!

    Have a fantastic day!
