We will be spending our 1st night at PC then transferring to WL for the rest of our trip. We have never done a stay involving 2 resorts. How do we get our luggage from PC to WL? Do we have to be with the luggage or can we send it to WL and we head to MK?

    Hi Amy!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Planning a split stay at Walt Disney World is a great way to explore multiple hotels and experience that much more during your vacation!

The morning that you check out from Disney's Pop Century Resort, you'll want to take your bags to the Bell Hop and let them know you are transferring to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They'll tag your bags for you and give you a receipt showing you checked your baggage with them. Transferring your bags from your first hotel to the second can take several hours, so heading to Magic Kingdom is actually a great plan! At the end of your day you'll then want to take transportation to Wilderness Lodge, my personal favorite from the Magic Kingdom to this hotel is the water taxi. After your check-in, proceed to the Bell Hop where you'll provide them with your bag check receipt and they'll collect and bring your baggage out to you right then. Disney does a great job of taking the work out of it for you to make it as simple as possible. As I said though, my only warning is that it can take several hours and you won't have access to your belongings so make sure you have everything you need for the day!

I hope you have a magical trip and please let us know if you have any other questions.
