Aloha, Diane!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You sound like you have a delicious ending planned for your day at Magic Kingdom.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has such
fantastic dining options that it always ends up on my family's must-do list of places to eat when we visit.
Diane, I'm so glad you asked this question because I do have a
parking suggestion for your day at
Magic Kingdom. Day parking at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is only allowed for up to three hours, so you will not be able to park there before you head off to enjoy Magic Kingdom. Since the Transportation and Ticket Center is right next door to this resort, there is a pathway between the two. It's a very short walk, and you'll be at the parking lot very quickly. If you are parked a bit further out, the courtesy trams do run after parking closing. It sounds like it will be a full day, so I suggest taking a picture of the section you park in when you arrive just in case! I know I have to do this whenever we drive to the theme parks!
One other idea is to give yourself a few extra minutes and move your car over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort before your reservation. Since you'll be going by on the monorail from Magic Kingdom, hop-off to locate your car via the Transportation and Ticket Center stop.
I hope one of these ideas will work for you, Diane! Thank you for continuing to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with all your Disney vacation planning questions. We look forward to hEARing from you in the nEAR future.
Have a MAGICAL day!
Nancy
