After spending the day at MK which closes at 6, my family wanted to walk over to the Poly, with our car in the MK parking lot, what time would the trams stop running for us to get back to our car?

    Aloha Melissa!

It's always a delight when you stop by planDisney with your question for us.

One of my favorite things to do is explore different Disney Resort hotels during my vacation. Each one is full of unique charm and details. I love making sure I stop by the shops to look at the Resort hotel-specific merchandise! For instance, on my recent visit to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I grabbed some Hawaiian Host treats from the Bou-tiki shop. I was incredibly pleased with myself because the chocolates brought me so much happiness, especially when those post-Disney vacation blues hit after my vacation!

Melissa, parking trams usually run for an hour after the theme park closes. As you know, Magic Kingdom Park will typically close general admission at 6 PM during a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party night, depending on the date you're visiting. However, the party hours are until midnight! Yippie! This means that the trams will run until an hour after the special ticketed event ends, which should give you more than enough time to explore the Disney Resort hotel.

If you're considering enjoying dinner at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I recommend making advance dining reservations at 'Ohana! It has delectable dishes like the famous 'Ohana Noodles and 'Ohana Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Now I'm craving the food so much that I may just make my own advance dining reservation to the restaurant!

Wishing you an enchanting visit, Melissa!
