Hello Leslie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are doing some exciting planning for your special anniversary trip! Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are both fantastic choices, with access to amazing dining experiences and conveniently located near theme parks. I think you've made perfect choices for your trip!
Disney’s Key to the Kingdom Tour is a 5 hour walking tour that will take you behind the scenes to unlock some of the fascinating history of Disney’s Magic Kingdom. I would recommend comfortable shoes and a light breakfast before the tour, since you will be doing a lot of walking. The tour is usually offered at three times daily, so your exact lunch time will depend on which tour you book. My understanding though, is that lunch is approximately three hours into the five hour tour. This can vary a little bit though, based on your tour guide, and your group’s individual speed. I would anticipate sitting down to eat sometime between 11:30 A.M. and 1 P.M. I would make your dinner Advance Dining Reservation a bit later if you are concerned about being too full from lunch. You could also book the earliest possible Key to the Kingdom Tour so that you know you will be dining on the earlier side.
Columbia Harbour House is actually one of my favorite Quick Service dining locations. Be sure to try the seasonal fruit cobbler!
I hope you are having fun making plans for your special trip, Leslie. Let us know what additional questions you have, we love to help!
Wishing you an unforgettable Disney vacation!
