Good tidings, Chad, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort - it exudes relaxed Southern Charm, and I can't think of a better place to enjoy a Christmas break.
The Resort is all about relaxation, but there are plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied. I can't go further, though, without mentioning
golf. If you have an Arnold Palmer in the making, Hilton Head is the place to be! There are several local golf courses that your tweens will love; the Front Desk will be able to send you in the right direction.
Every time we visit, we barely see our kiddos! The Cast Members at the
Activity Center are so fantastic; our kiddos beg to spend the day with them!
The fun changes from week to week, but they've enjoyed movies by the campfire, Mickey t-shirt tie-dye, a s 'mores sing-along, and even made fleece quilts! Your teenagers will love kayaking on Broad Creek, and no worries about feeding them, lunch is provided.
You can
rent bikes and explore Hilton Head Island, or take them over to
Disney's Beach House. Besides the 3.5 miles of gorgeous beach, the Beach House has snacks and games. We have so much fun playing life-sized checkers by
the pool! For my husband's birthday a few yEARs ago, we met dolphins on the
Lowcountry Nature Dolphin Tour, and it honestly was my favorite part of that visit. The water is calming, the skipper was hilarious, and the dolphins were delightful!
Chad, you will get a daily guide of activities at the Resort, and I know you will discover even more fun. Make sure to take a swing in a hammock and play bocci outside of your hotel room for me!
I wish you a Very Merry Christmas ~ Rayna
