What are the specific vaccines required to have a dog stay in a resort room?

Welcome to planDisney, Erin, where we love dogs of all shapes and sizes. But those spotted Dalmations are a favorite of mine, so let's look at 101 ways to travel to Walt Disney World Resort with your pooch.

I spoke to a Cast Member who is NOT hiding underneath a rock like Cruella. She told me that proof of vaccinations is required if you plan to board your furry friend at the Best Friends Pet Hotel.

So, I'd recommend calling them at (407) 209-3126 for the current requirements. The Cast Member said the vaccine rules should be the same at the pet-friendly Disney Resort Hotels.

The Cast Member also suggested you call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations as soon as possible to let them know you're bringing along a canine companion, and you can check with them for the latest vaccine requirements at that time.

They will attach a note to your reservation indicating that you're bringing your little Pongo or Perdita along. Remember, you can only bring dogs; the limit is two per room. Cruella will have to look for pups elsewhere!

Erin, I hope your upcoming visit is full of tail-wagging magic. Please stop by planDisney anytime. It's a TREAT to help guests.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
