Hi Randy, and welcome to planDisney! There are so many different experiences at Disney World that it can be hard to choose just a few. But I chatted with my fellow panelists, and we had fun putting together our favorite unique and popular restaurants and Enchanting Extras. I hope this gives you some ideas for your trip!
LOUNGES
-
Oga’s Cantina: As a Star Wars fan, stopping by this watering hole is always a must-do during my journey to Batuu. They recently added new food items to the menu, and the Thruster Roasted Bantha Flatbread is one of my favorites!
-
The Beak and Barrel: This swashbucklin’ tavern is frequented by pirates and will have you raising your drink for a hearty round of “yo ho yo ho!” In no time!
RESTAURANTS
-
Space 220: To get to this restaurant, you’ll blast high above planet Earth aboard a special elevator! While you enjoy your meal, you’ll be treated to sweeping galactic views through the windows.
-
Sci-Fi Dine-In: This is one of my family’s favorites, which features car-shaped tables under a twinkling evening sky with film clips playing on the big screen!
-
Cinderella’s Royal Table: Dining inside Cinderella Castle is the quintessential Disney experience, and you’ll even get a visit from a few princesses!
EXPERIENCES
-
Savi’s Workshop: This is a must-do if you want to learn the ways of the force and build your very own lightsaber! It’s such a cool experience for Jedis in training.
-
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: For kiddos ages 3 to 12, this is the place for a royal makeover fit for princes and princesses!
-
Behind the Seeds: You know those greenhouses on the Living with the Land ride? This 1-hour tour gives you an in-depth look at the plants and fish, as well as the unique growing techniques in the greenhouses.
NIGHTTIME SPECTACULARS
And finally, watching the nighttime shows is always my favorite way to end a Disney day! Booking a dessert party or dining package makes it easy to get a great viewing spot while enjoying delicious food. Take a look at the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties, the Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package at EPCOT, and the Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Hollywood Studios. And if you want something extra special, you can even book your own private
Fireworks Cruise!
Since your booking window for these popular meals and experiences is already open, you may not see any availability for some of them. But, Hakuna Matata! Other guests are always changing their plans, so I’ve had good luck snagging even hard-to-get reservations in the days leading up to my trip.
I hope you have the most magical time at Disney World next month! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
