I want to do a specialty cruise with my family to celebrate my parents' anniversary. There will be 16 of us so the Grand 1 Yacht is likely our best bet. Is an hour enough time to catch the show? Also, can you see the projections on the castle?

Hello there, Veronica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort summer vacation!

Happy anniversary to your parents! It sounds as though you are planning a very magical celebration for them during your upcoming trip! Specialty Cruises at Walt Disney World Resort are the perfect way to feel like royalty, regardless of the occasion.

One of the most popular options for the Specialty Cruises would have to be the Fireworks Cruise. Currently, this experience allows Guests to view either Happily Ever After or IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from a unique water setting. Guests will board their private, chartered boat for an evening of gorgeous views and unforgettable experiences. Music from your firework extravaganza will be played on-board your cruise so be prepared for a fully immersive experience! This experience also includes an assortment of snacks as well as a cooler full of soft drinks.

Also, this specific offering is booked as a fireworks experience so the pricing will be different than the standard hourly rate for Grand 1 Yacht rentals.

I am happy to say that Specialty Cruises booked for Happily Ever After will have a view of Cinderella's Castle, as well as the projections, throughout the duration of the show. This makes the Specialty Cruises an excellent way to view Happily Ever After without having to reserve a place to watch in the parks!

I hope this answers your questions regarding Specialty Cruises at Walt Disney World Resort!
