Hi, Rachel! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing your question to us! Walt Disney World Resort is full of so many transportation options, so it can be quite confusing to keep track of what goes where! I saw a Disney transportation poster a couple of years ago that someone had designed to look like a subway map. It had colored lines all over it, which really emphasized all the options available to guests. Since then, there have been even more transportation methods and routes added to the Resort, so I can't even imagine how crowded that poster must be now!
I am happy to report to you that you will be able to utilize
Disney bus transportation to travel from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom Park. I actually just did this a few weeks ago with a fellow panelist when we enjoyed a girls' weekend together! When you head out of the park, check the transportation board to see the numbered gate designated for the Magic Kingdom Park bus.
As you head to the bus circle, you may notice something quite magical high in the sky. The
Disney Skyliner is slated to open this fall and you just may have a chance to take flight during your visit. While Magic Kingdom Park is not a destination for the Disney Skyliner, you could still climb aboard and do a little sightseeing. If you have some time, you could take it to one of the
Disney Resort Hotels on its route and then take the Magic Kingdom Park bus from that resort.
I hope this information helps you get here, there, and everywhere during your magical adventure! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
