    What special things will restaurants etc. do for my daughter since we're celebrating her 5th birthday while there. Where would be the best places to go for her?

    Hi Kaitlynn,

    Birthdays are magical at the Walt Disney World Resorts! We have celebrated numerous birthdays here and everyone was different!

    For my daughter's fifth birthday, we had breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends. It was fun and my daughter loved it. The restaurant gave her an autograph card from Pooh and a special cupcake.

    Each restaurant will do something different for guests for their birthdays. It could be a dessert or appetizer. It really varies.

    As for meals, does she have a particular food she likes? If so, dine at a restaurant that serves that at Disney. 1900 Park Fare for dinner is one of my favorite special treats. Also, Whispering Canyon Cafe is a fun place all the time in my opinion. You might also try California Grill at the top of the Contemporary and watch the fireworks all dressed up.
