My special son eats a liquid diet that is milk based so must be kept cold, in past we did fine in cooler full of ice but that is no longer allowed. Ice packs won’t be cold enough as no freezer available in room to refreezze at night. So what do I do

Hi Jennifer!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you are aware of announcements regarding recent updates to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.

Loose ice is no longer allowed in coolers.  This change was made to streamline the bag check process, as all bags and coolers will be inspected prior to entering the Theme Parks or Water Parks. You are welcome to use small bags of ice in your cooler.  I recommend bringing some small zip-top bags along with you.  If you need additional ice during the day, cups of ice are available at no charge at Quick Service food and beverage locations.

Just to be on the safe side, I also recommend taking a look at the maximum bag/cooler size as outlined in the list of Prohibited Items.

I hope that helps!  Enjoy your stay and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions you may have.
