Are there special services for autistic children on the Disney Cruise Line?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gretchen!

One of the most important reasons my family sails the high seas with Disney Cruise Line is their amazing service and the focus they place on ensuring all guests onboard have an incredible vacation.  This focus extends to families who are sailing with children on the Autism spectrum.

Disney Cruise Line works hard to make appropriate accommodations for guests with Autism to participate and enjoy onboard activities, character experiences, deck parties and Broadway-style shows while onboard.

One example of the thoughtful approach taken for those with different needs is Disney Cruise Line's Family Movie Fun Time in the Buena Vista Theater.  These special movie screenings keep the lights turned up, the volume turned down and welcome guests to laugh, talk and walk about while enjoying a recently released Disney feature film.  Check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for showtimes.

To discuss any special accommodations needed for any guest sailing on Disney Cruise Line, I recommend you contact the Special Services team at (407)-566-3602.  They can provide specific accommodations available during your sailing and discuss considerations for your child's needs.

Enjoy making magical memories!  Bon voyage!  Angie
