    Hi, are there special events on Easter Sunday such as an Easter Egg Hunt or egg decorating? If so, where can I find out more information or sign up?

    Hoppy Easter Greetings Ivette!

    Easter is one of my favorite holidays (second only to Christmas) and celebrating at Walt Disney Word is a sp-egg-tacular treat! The flowers are in full bloom, the decorations are egg-cellent, and there is the perfect bounce to the air.

    We spent last Easter at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and had the most egg-cellent time. My kiddos got to meet Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny, make pop art with paint-filled eggs and go on a fabulous egg hunt! The Bunnies haven't finalized their plans with Mickey Mouse just yet, but keep an EAR out on Disney Parks Blog - it will be the first place to announce all the hoppy happenings. 

    Based on last year’s Easter celebrations though, you are in for a treat! Special Characters showed up in Magic Kingdom Park, and most of the Resorts hosted Easter-related activities including Egg Hunt/Candy Scrambles and Character Greetings. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is renowned for it’s gorgeous Easter Egg display and last year Disney's Beach Club Resort had a chocolate Egg Display, which both looked and smelled incredible!

    As part of our Easter celebrations this year, we are bouncing to the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Festival hosts an Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt through most of April, as well as other delightful springtime activities I am sure your family will enjoy!
