Hi Alise,
Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to help!
It sounds like your son is hoping to take advantage of an
Annual Passholder discounted resort stay. These
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts are available from time to time, but resort and room availability is limited. I see there is an offer for up to 35% off rooms at select resorts between July 8 and October 3, 2024. Based on your quickly approaching arrival date of September 30, your current resort may not have remaining availability for discounted rooms. Your son is welcome to call and inquire about availability for a new reservation, but he would not be able to apply an Annual Passholder room discount if he is not the lead guest on your existing reservation or if there are other discounts already associated with your room and ticket package.
As indicated in the
terms & conditions, Annual Passes are non-refundable but can be activated up to a year after initial purchases. Though he might not be able to get a discounted room for this particular visit, he can look for discounts for future eligible stays in addition to enjoying many other fantastic
Annual Passholder perks. I'm in my second year as a Disney Sorcerer Passholder and I've loved taking advantage of
discounted meals, merchandise, and even Enchanted Extras Collection experiences along with a year of admission to the parks.
I recommend having your son
contact V.I PASSHOLDER Support with additional questions and concerns. They should be able to clarify eligibility for discounted resort stays and help him get the most from his purchase. You'll also want to make sure he makes the necessary
theme park reservations if he is planning to use his Annual Pass for admission on your upcoming visit.
I'm sorry I don't have a more magical answer for you today, Alise, but I'm hopeful your son will be able to enjoy a year of magic with his pass. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions as you prepare for your visit.
Magic and memories,
Amy
