HI Carol!
This is a tough question to answer, since it has so many variables! The best savings for your family will depend on the number of days you will be spending at Walt Disney World, which resort you've chosen to stay at, and how many people will be traveling.
But, I can give you one trick that I use all the time to figure out what's best for my family. To weigh the different discounts and promotions, I use the online reservations system to price out the different options.
FIrst, I start by visiting the
Special Offers page which lists the currently available discounts. After reading through the available discounts, I'll choose the first one I am interested in (for instance the Gift Card promotion currently being offered). I'll then price out my resort, with my dates, ticket options and family members added in.
Once I have that price set, I'll write it down, and return to the Special Offers page again. This time I'll select the next promotion that interests me, and go through the whole process again - just be sure to choose the same options, resorts and dates for each search so you'll be comparing apples to apples!
A couple of things to keep in mind: Occasionally a resort may be sold out for an offer, meaning that it will not be available with that discount. In these instances, you may only have a choice of one offer in order to get the resort you are interested in. Also, sometimes offers have different availability dates - so its good to check that out too!
Hope this helps a little!
