Are there any special amenities for someone celebrating birthday at WDW

    Hi Cheryl,

We're happy that we have become your go to resource for all of your trip planning questions.  Birthdays are special in general, but when you're celebrating them at the Walt Disney World Resort, then the specialness is kicked up a notch.   Your first order of business is to request a "Happy Birthday" button from a Cast Member, either at your resort hotel, or at any Guest Services location at the theme parks.  You never know what surprises may be in store for the wearer of that button.

You may request a "Celebrate Today" cake at most table service restaurants.  Simply ask the Cast Member when you check in at the podium, and a cake will magically appear at your table for a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday".

The Moms Panel receives lots of questions about birthdays, so if you search here, you can view all the other advice that our expert panel has provided to our guests.

Sending you pixie dusted wishes for a magical vacation and the best birthday ever!
