Hello! We’re a Spanish family with two children, ages 6 and 9. Our current plan is: September 19: Hollywood Studios September 20: Animal Kingdom September 21: Magic Kingdom We’d like to know if you think this itinerary is well organized, whether it would

    Hello, Veronica! Welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for sharing your question with us. It sounds like you have a wonderful Walt Disney World adventure in the works, and you’ve picked a great time to visit. There is so much going on at Walt Disney World during the autumn months, and you can read about what to expect over on the Disney Parks Blog.

I think your itinerary looks great, but I do want to mention one spooky season special event: the very popular Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. Even if you don’t plan on attending (the party is not included with standard theme park tickets), it’s worth paying attention to the party schedule because the Magic Kingdom closes early (6:00 PM) to regular theme park guests on party nights. There is no party currently scheduled for September 21, the date you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom, so you’ll be able to enjoy the park longer. Woo hoo! But keep in mind there are parties on September 20 and 22 if you decide to change your vacation plan.

You can find information on park hours here, and dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party here. My only suggestion for your itinerary would be to consider adding EPCOT to your schedule. I know there are only so many hours in the day, but the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be happening during your visit. It’s a very fun (and delicious) event, and it’s included with regular theme park admission.

I hope this information is helpful, Veronica. Please come back to planDisney if you have additional questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
