Hi! My family of 3 is going to WDW end of July. We have (2) days in Magic Kingdom, (2) days in Hollywood studios & (1) day each in the other parks. Should we do lightening lane single passes each day or choose a few days and do the multipass?

Hiya, Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your question.

It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner. To quote a very famous mouse, “Oh Boy!” You’ll be immersed in a world of magic, enjoying everything the Vacation Kingdom of the World has to offer before you know it!

When it comes to Lightning Lane Passes, it’s really about which attractions you’d like to prioritize during your visit. Lightning Lane Multi Pass, where you choose up to 3 experiences to skip the standby line, includes different attractions than Lightning Lane Single Pass, where you choose 1 experience (Single Pass eligible attractions are not included with the Multi Pass). You can find a list of eligible attractions for both Multi Pass and Single Pass here

Since you are doing two days at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, I might consider purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for one day and then Single Passes for the other. This way, you can prioritize the attractions included with the Multi Pass and get as much value as possible. For your Animal Kingdom and EPCOT days, it will really depend on which rides are important to you and how much you’re trying to fit in. If you’re really intent on skipping as many regular queues as possible, you can purchase the Multi Pass and Single Pass for the same day since they include different attractions.

I hope you find this info useful, Kimberly. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
