Hi, Pam! Welcome to planDisney.
I love that you're keeping an eye on what's happening around the parks, especially with classics like
Spaceship Earth and the fun over in
Toy Story Land. It's always smart to check what's open before your visit so you can plan your park days just right.
As of now, Spaceship Earth is closed for a routine refurbishment that began August 25, 2025, and is expected to reopen later this year (we don't know the exact reopen date just yet). Don’t worry, this isn't a major overhaul, just a little tune-up for "our Spaceship Earth," as Judi Dench might say. ("Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe…" you know the one!) Over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, all of the Toy Story rides are currently open and operating, so you can still shrink down to toy size and join the fun with Woody, Buzz, and the gang.
Here's a tip: whilst Spaceship Earth is closed, take the chance to explore
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. It's one of my family's favorite new attractions. Try it both in the day and at night for a completely different experience. "We know the way!"
Happy planning, Pam.
Mike
