Is spaceship earth in Epcot ok to take a 2 1/2 yr old on? How about Soarin'?

    Hello, Janet!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your interesting question about two of Epcot's most popular rides. Spaceship Earth should be just fine for your toddler, at least as far as the speed and movement goes. It is fairly dark throughout the ride experience, but nothing pops out or is particularly scary. This ride also includes an interactive component that children love to help out with.

Unlike Spaceship Earth, Soarin' does have a height requirement of 40 inches (102 cm) or taller to ride. It is a really smooth ride, but if your child has not met the height requirement, he or she will be unable to experience this attraction.

I hope that you have a magical day at Epcot, Janet! If you have any other questions about this incredible theme park, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. I hope to hEAR from you soon!
