    Hi! Is Space Mountain only Christmas themed during the Mickey parties and not during the day?

    Happy holidays and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leann! I'm so excited for you to see the magic that awaits you at Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas season!

    Earlier this year, it was announced that Magic Kingdom Park would get three all-new attraction overlays for the 2019 holiday season. Space Mountain's overlay promises to take guests on a "trippy jaunt through the cosmos" with its rockin' Christmas tunes and special red and green lighting effects. I was able to ride Space Mountain twice last month, once during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and again during regular Park hours. I can confirm that this unique high-speed trip on Space Mountain's "holiday sleigh" is only available during the Party. Other Party exclusive overlays can be found on the Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, and the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. 

    If you're not planning on attending the Party, make sure to experience the Jingle Cruise, which is the seasonal overlay for the pun-filled Jungle Cruise attraction, and is available all day. The Jungle Cruise boats are renamed with the cute holiday themes, and the Skippers add a slew of Christmas jokes to their repertoire.
