Is space 220 bar area over 21s only

Greetings, Earthling Adele, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure soon, so let's hop aboard the Stellarvator to the Centauri Space Station and talk about dining at Space 220 Lounge above EPCOT.

I chatted with a space-walking Cast Member who said policies could vary depending on how busy the location is. However, only guests who are 21 and older are typically allowed to sit at the actual bar in the Space 220 Lounge.

The lounge area also has table seating, and guests of all ages can usually sit at those tables. You can book advanced dining reservations for a table at Space 220 Lounge 60 days before arrival, and my tip is to keep checking on your mobile app. Guests' plans change all the time, and I've had luck scoring last-minute reservations.

Guests of all ages can be seated in the Space 220 Restaurant along the outer rim of the location. These tables are near the windows and offer stunning views of the space shenanigans that take place while you dine. Meals here are prix fixe, while the menu in the Space 220 Lounge is à la carte. There's also a walk-up waitlist, and my tip is to hop in line about 30 minutes before the restaurant opens to try to snag a spot.

My husband and I have enjoyed the tasty Shrimp Tacos and delectable Blue Moon Cauliflower from the lounge menu, and the Starship Lemonade is out-of-this-world!

Adele, I hope you moonwalk your way to a fabulous visit! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
