Hello Linda!
Welcome to planDisney! I am a big fan of hot tubs, and it is one of my favorite ways to unwind and rest my weary legs after walking in the theme parks all day. My family enjoyed a stay at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this past fall, and we spent several evenings at the pool. I specifically chose to stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort over a Value Resort because I wanted to be sure we had access to a water slide for the kids and a hot tub for me!
Please know that things are always subject to change, especially because your trip is not for a few more weeks. As of February 2021, the
Lost City of Cibola Pool at The Dig Site main pool area, was open for Guests from 10 AM to 10 PM daily, and the leisure pools were open from 7 AM to 11 PM. Do be aware that there are no lifeguards on duty at the leisure pools. Take part in some splashtastic afternoon poolside activities between 2:30 PM and 7 PM, or enjoy one of your favorite Disney films with
Movies Under the Stars on the lawn outside the Gran Destino Tower on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM. If you do take in one of the movies, I recommend a quick trip to the gift shop to grab a Mickey Premium Bar to enjoy with the show!
There is a very spacious hot tub at The Dig Site feature pool area, in fact, it is the largest hot tub at
Walt Disney World! However, I’m sorry to say that there are no hot tubs at the leisure pools. As I am very conscious of
safety measures, I specifically checked the leisure pools for spa tubs during our visit, hoping to find one all to myself! With the main hot tub being so large though, you may find enough room to space out from other Guests.
I hope this helps with your planning, Linda, and that you find some time to relax in the amazing hot tub during your visit!
