This might sound dumb, but we are a large family and our question is: In November we are going to DW , will the restaurants be charging a gratuity? I only ask because the restaurants in our town stopped charging due to new laws.

    Hello Richard,

This is actually a great question!  My favorite way to visit Walt Disney World is with a big group of friends and family, and what's more fun than a delicious meal together?  The official policy at Disney restaurants is that an automatic 18% gratuity will be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more, so I'd plan on it being added to your bill when you dine with groups that size.

I hope that helps and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Richard.  Please feel free to let us know if we can assist with anything else.

Wishing you a most magical vacation!
