Hi there Joshua,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your question our way - I'm thrilled to assist you!
When arriving at Orlando International Airport (MCO), you have several options for getting to
Walt Disney World Resort. Some Guests prefer using third-party shuttle services, others like to rent a vehicle, and many opt for Ride Share services like Uber or Lyft. Personally, I enjoy mixing it up depending on who I'm travelling with.
For Ride Share services, pick-up locations at the airport vary slightly: in Terminals A and B, head to Level 2 (between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM, pick-up is on Level 3), and in Terminal C, proceed to Level 6.
A shuttle service is an affordable way to reach your Disney Resort hotel. Mears Connect offers two options: standard and express. The standard service may make a few stops before reaching your destination, while the express option provides a direct route.I recommend pre-booking your shuttle to make your arrival seamless. After collecting your luggage, look for the Resort Transportation signs. Shuttle pick-up is located on Level 1 in both Terminal B and Terminal C.
The journey to Walt Disney World Resort can vary in duration, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, but before you know it, you’ll be arriving at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, ready to take in the breathtaking views of the animals on the Savanna.
I recommend using
Direct-to-Room Service - a way to simplify your arrival. You can complete the online check-in service to bypass the Front Desk and go right to your room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge once you receive a notification that your room is ready!
If you are hungry upon arrival, head over to the Sanaa Lounge and try the
Indian-style Bread Service (comes with the choice of five breads with nine accompaniments). It's delicious!
Joshua, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. I wish you a wonderful vacation in the New Year, may your countdown fly as fast as Tinkerbell!
See ya real soon,
Candace
