Welcome back, Quincy!
Makeovers at Magic Kingdom are not just for princesses. Sure, little girls adore being transformed into their favorite sparkly Disney princesses at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but boys and non-princessy girls have another makeover option too!
My son adored his pirate makeover at The Pirates League. He was transformed into Blackbeard, complete with makeup beard, costume, sword and special pirate coin necklace. A gold doubloon to treasure! I have the most fabulous memories of the pirate who did his makeover walking my son through the pirate naming process. It was very official. He even got to name his ship. I still laugh because the pirate asked him, "Quick, matey, what's the first animal you can think of?" To all of our surprise, my son said, "Unicorn!" That came out of nowhere. We were all in hysterics that that was the first animal he could think of. Then, he was asked for a color, which he chose as black. So, he was officially named Captain of the Black Unicorn, the fiercest ship on the high seas, as anyone would guess with that name!
After his makeover, he enjoyed the rest of the day walking boldly around the park challenging us to pirate duels. Your boys will love this experience! It's one for the memory books! Check out the different packages that are available and the prices for each on
The Pirates League webpage for more details. Since this is a super popular experience, be sure to call for reservations early!
Have fun planning this swashbuckling experience for your little scallywags, Quincy!
