Hi, Victoria! My family cannot get enough of the holiday season at
Walt Disney World. It's like taking magic, sprinkling it with Christmas cheer, and wrapping it up with a big bow of holiday wonder. We love Christmas at Walt Disney World.
Holiday decorations begin going up in early November, and by Thanksgiving, almost everything is at it's Christmas peak. The biggest event you'll see in mid-November is
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You'll need a special ticket to attend the party, but here is where the Christmas season really shines. With a holiday themed parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks, holiday shows, and even special holiday treats, it's a way for even the Scroogiest in my family to find the Christmas spirit.
The party usually takes place Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, but you'll want to check your dates to see if it is offered during your stay. Days vary slightly in November.
Resort holiday displays also begin to go up in mid-November. Depending on when your trip is, you may want to do a tour of some of the spectacular resort decorations. If history repeats itself,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa begins assembling it's life size gingerbread house a week or so before Thanksgiving. It's a must see for my gang.
Have a jolly holiday at Walt Disney World!
Anna
