Sorry for the confusion but connecting rooms is what I meant. We are traveling with another family. Could not think of connecting last night. I was told when I booked that LM rooms did not connect. Just wanted to check for sure because I read they did.

    Hi Jennifer,

I've double checked with several sources and can confirm that there are rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation resort that connect to other rooms.

You're welcome to make a request for that type of room configuration. However, I must tell you that while Disney does make every effort to accommodate guest preference, room requests are not guaranteed. Requests for connecting rooms are typically first given to guests with medical needs and families with three or more small children.

There is an article on the independent website blog.touringplans.com called "The Art of the Disney World Room Request" that may give you more ideas about how to make an effective request.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the room type that you want.
