How soon before your trip can you or should you start mobile resort check in?

    Hi Katie,

Congratulations on booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You are in for a TREAT, and I'm super excited for you!

I'm happy to share the good news that as soon as you've made your Disney Resort hotel reservations and linked your stay to your My Disney Experience account (if it didn't link automagically), you'll be able to begin the online check-in process. You can complete the process either on My Disney Experience or through the My Disney Experience mobile app, and the great thing is that you can set up everything you need through online check-in and you won't even need to stop by the front desk when you arrive! In fact, when you provide your email address and/or cell phone number, you can simply be notified when your room is ready and head straight there whenever you'd like. Does it get any easier than that? Oh, one other tip for you...While you're checking in online, don't forget to customize your MagicBands at least 11 days in advance, too, so that they can be shipped to your home before you even arrive.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie, and please come see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
