    How soon after the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom can guests use the Railroad? Do the characters stay on the train or do they enter the Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Kathleen! 

    You can ride the railroad as soon as the park opens! Once you enter the park you can head straight to the railroad and hop on! The Disney Characters are not typically not found riding the trains. You can meet them once you are in the park at Magic Kingdom on Main Street and the Town Street Theatre. Character meet and greets are throughout the parks. Simply pick up a map and Times Guide when you arrive to find out when and where.
