My soon to be husband and I will be disneymooning in May, we love to visit early May due to great weather and low crowds but for our honeymoon we will be there May 20th to the 25th. Typically how are the crowds that week? Thanks so much!!

Hi Emily! I can't believe Merriam Webster hasn't added "Disneymooning" to the dictionary -- it's an awesome word! May is one of my family's favorite months to visit Walt Disney World (and also the month I was married!) so I think you've picked a perfect time for your Disneymoon! The weather at Disney in May is usually so comfortably warm and sunny, and the crowd levels in the parks are generally quite manageable. Hollywood Studios usually hosts Star Wars weekends in May, so if you want to avoid crowds, you may want to avoid Hollywood Studios on May 20. Attendance levels in the parks should be fairly moderate for the rest of the week, but you will likely notice an increase in the crowds as you get closer to Memorial Day weekend. While you'll see more people in the parks in late May than you do in early May, the crowds should be fairly manageable for your trip.

Wishing you a magical Disneymoon! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
