How soon can we make food reservations for our group of 10?

Bon Appetit, Sharleen! Walt Disney World Dining is one of my favorite things to talk about! Snacks, drinks, meals…I love it ALL!

The current reservation system allows you to make dining reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation 60 days prior to your arrival. If I have done my math correctly, that would mean that you can start booking yours on October 22. Dining reservations open up at 6am EST, and with a party of 10, you will want to be on about 15 minutes early, with your list of desired locations in mind.

If you find that you are having trouble making reservations for 10, you might try breaking it up into 2 parties of 4 and 6 and finding the same dining time. Once you arrive to the dining location, you can let them know you are together, and they might be able to accommodate you all at the same table.

Once of my favorite “hidden gems” is Olivia’s Café, located at Old Key West resort. It is a bit of a trip to get there, but I have never had trouble getting a reservation. Also, the food is outstanding! My favorite is usually Captain Wahoo’s Catch of the Day, or the Caesar Salad with Shrimp. Top that off with a Banana Bread Pudding Sundae, and my day is complete!

Good luck with your upcoming dining reservation day!
