I will soon be going on my first Disney cruise on The Dream. Are all of the stateroom doors metal to hold the Disney magnets?

    Ahoy, Eileen!
Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise! You have such a magical vacation to look forward to on the spectacular Disney Dream! There is so much to experience on a sailing with Captain Mickey including world-class entertainment, beautiful ports of call, delectable dining, splashtacular fun and so much more. I really hope it will be the first of "minnie" cruises with Disney.
I love your question because decorating your door is the perfect way to personalize your stateroom from the sea of doors down the long corridor. On the Disney Dream you'll find all the stateroom doors are metal except for the Concierge rooms. Magnets are such a great idea because it makes it very easy to identify as you approach your stateroom, and it's always fun to see how creative some Guests are with their door decor! I always pack our magnets in my carry-on bag so we can put them on our door as soon as we arrive (typically around 1:30 p.m.). After we return home, I place our magnets on the door leading out to our garage because it is also metal. They serve as a great reminder of all the special memories made on our past sailings.
Eileen, I hope you are enjoying planning your Disney Cruise vacation. Please come back to see us if you think of any additional questions about your cruise.
    Have a magical day!
