Hiya, Frank! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this timely question about the new
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. You'll arrive on the spookiest day of the year, so I'm
dying to help you. Since this is a brand-new product, maybe we can learn about it together.
This new pass is available for guests with valid admission staying at
Disney Deluxe Resort hotels and other select resorts. They will typically be able to purchase it seven days before check-in for the length of their stay (up to 14 days). However, the next few days will look slightly different during its initial rollout.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said the first day eligible guests can purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be October 30 at 7:00 AM EST. At that time, eligible guests can buy the pass for that day and the next seven days.
Armed with that information, you should be able to buy a pass for November 1 on the morning of October 30. In the meantime, ensure your Deluxe Resort stay and theme park tickets are linked to your account. And if your tickets
require theme park reservations, you'll need them for the park where you plan to purchase the pass. Finally, if you're buying passes for other guests, remember to link them to your
Family & Friends.
To begin the purchase process, look for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass tile on the home screen of your mobile app. Since there won't be a multi-park option, you'll choose one theme park for the pass. Pricing will depend on the park and date you choose; you'll see those options before purchasing.
I can't wait to see how this new product works! Feel free to report back about your experience. I'm sure there will be a learning curve, but I am confident you'll get the hang of it! My family enjoys using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, especially at
Magic Kingdom Park. Do we argue about which "mountain" to experience first? Absolutely. But the correct answer is always Space Mountain!
Frank, I'm sending pixie dust and cobwebs for Halloween luck! Lightning Lane Premier Pass will have limited availability, but I'm cheering you on. Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
