Walt Disney World Resort regularly! DVC Membership is a guarantee that your next Disney adventure is never too far away, which definitely makes me feel better when we're leaving the "Disney bubble".
OK, so let's chat about
Lightning Lanes. These magical passes allow you to bypass the standby lines for most of the attractions at Walt Disney World. They're available as
Lightning Lane Multi Pass (allowing you to select up to 3 attractions in a theme park on a certain day), and
Single Pass (individual reservations for the most popular attractions).
Guests may also purchase
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows you to experience every eligible attraction in a given park on a single day. It makes for a low-stress day, as you can choose when you want to visit each specific attraction! Personally, I think it is the most beneficial at
Magic Kingdom Park - there are so many things to visit that it's hard to get to them all in one day!
Diane, since you're staying on Disney property, the window to purchase opens at 7:00 AM EST, 7 days before your check-in date. This is true for any on-property Guest, DVC Member or not. If you'll be booking Lightning Lanes for your travel party, be sure that everyone is linked as Friends & Family in your
My Disney Experience account before your booking date so things go smoothly.
On the morning that your 7-day window opens, I recommend logging on to the
My Disney Experience app before 7 to make sure that you're ready to jump on those passes! You will be able to book Lightning Lanes for days when you have valid theme park admission, and make reservations for multiple days at once.
