SOO many questions have been answered by you wonder people LOVE THIS SITE!!! I'm going in Dec 08 with hubby and 2yr son. since he is free to eat and has to share with mom and dad, what are the portions like? my son can eat! thank you

You best bet with your big eater 2-year-old might be the buffet style restaurants. There are character meal buffets (Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, etc.) and non-character meal buffets (Biergarten, Boma, Cape May Cafe dinner, etc.) In both these situations, having your son eat from your plate is not really an issue because you can fill your plate as often as you wish.

I find many of the adult food portions at WDW to be large enough to share (really depends on the restaurant and how hungry you are.) But if you feel that meals are not large enough to share, you could always just order your son some extra food and pay for it. The children's meals at WDW are usually fairly inexpensive, and usually come with a healthy side dish or two in addition to the entree. Or, if you son has a more adult palate, you could order him an adult appetizer as a main meal. Again, in most cases this would not increase the size of your bill too substantially.
