Ahoy, Krista, and welcome aboard planDisney!
One of the many things my family absolutely loves about Disney Cruise Line is the amazing
kids' clubs! These interactive spaces are designed with children of all ages in mind, offering a wide variety of activities that are both fun and engaging. From the colorful imaginative play areas of the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab for younger kids to the more tween and teen-centric spaces like
Edge and
Vibe, there's literally something for every child! It's such a great way for the kids to have their own special adventures while parents enjoy some time to themselves, knowing their kids are having their best day at sea in a safe, creative environment.
Krista, I completely understand your kids wanting to stick together, and the Edge will be the perfect space for them to do that. Here's what you'll need to do to make that happen: Once you board the ship on embarkation day, head on over to the Edge and speak with one of the youth counselors. Explain to them that you would like your 10-year-old to join the Edge with your older child. They will guide you through the process, including having you sign a consent form. The counselors will make sure that your child feels comfortable and is in the appropriate age group for activities.
Alternatively, if your older child wants to check out the Oceaneer Club and Lab with their sibling, they can do so during any open house session! Honestly, I absolutely love visiting these spaces with my kids — they're so much fun and packed with cool activities!
Krista, I hope this sets your mind at ease so you can start dreaming of all the magical adventures that await you at sea! There's so much fun to be had onboard — get ready for a voyage full of fun!
Make waves of memories!
