    Hi my son is 9 years old and would LOVE to do the dining with an imagineer experience. Is it open to children younger then 14 if they have a sincere interest in it? What is the menu for the dining experience ( he has serious food allergies) ?

    Hi Amanda!  Thank you for coming back to the Moms Panel with another great question.

    I completely understand your son's interest in Dining with an Imagineer.  My eldest son could hardly wait until he was old enough to experience the Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom.  For many years, at least one member of our group was too young to participate.  My son and I finally got to experience this tour last year, and he agreed it was worth the wait!

    I am afraid Dining with an Imagineer is reserved for guests age 14 and up.  However, I have great news for you Amanda!  A similar experience, Dine with an Animal Specialist, is available for ages 8 and up.  This event is part of the Enchanting Extras Collection.  As far as the menu is concerned, when you call to reserve this experience at 407-WDW-PLAY or 407-939-7529 you can make note of any allergies.

    You may also wish to take a look at other Special Events and Tours that are available.  You can sort by age to find a tour that is suitable for your family.  I recently participated in the Up Close with Rhinos tour and I highly recommend it.
