My son will be 17 years old is he considered an adult or is he a teen

    Hi Lynette,

This is such a tricky question to answer but let me try.

For the purpose of dining and tickets, he is an adult. You become an adult once you become 10 years old at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

For the purpose of the room, he would be consider a child. He would also be considered a child while on the Disney Cruise Line.

If you will be touring with Adventures by Disney, he would be considered an adult because he is over the age of 12.

I hope this makes your planning easier and you have a wonderful vacation.
