Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Quinn!
How exciting that you have a high seas adventure next month on the
Disney Dream! What I love about cruising on any Disney Cruise Line ship is the variety of entertainment and
activities onboard for all ages! You and your sons are sure to have an incredible vacation together.
Since your oldest is 18 years old, he can enjoy the adults exclusive areas of the ship with you like the
Quiet Cove Pool,
Palo and
Remy. The youth clubs, like
Vibe, are for pirates who are 17 years of age and younger, so he will not be able to spend time in this space with his brother outside of open house hours. But, your oldest son may be interested in the 1820 Society.
The 1820 Society is a social group onboard each sailing that is coordinated by cruise staff for guests that are 18, 19 or 20 years old. Have your son download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on his personal device to check the daily schedules for these activities during your sailing.
I recommend if he is interested in getting to know other guests onboard of his same age, to keep an eye on the Navigator App the first day of your vacation. The first event is often scheduled on embarkation day and is typically an ice breaker activity. Throughout the cruise he can attend additional 1820 Society events, games and lunches!
Visit us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you chart your course to your magical vacation!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
