Hello, Mariceli! Welcome to planDisney. I'm excited to hear you'll be experiencing the Disney magic next month!
Like you, I also have a son who has an affinity for the theater arts, and he always looks forward to his weekly tap dance lessons. There's nothing better than seeing an inspirational role model live on stage. I called Guest Services today, and unfortunately, they could not confirm anything for me; however, I did my own research and found out that Andrew Roubal is currently one of the tap soloists in
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire at Magic Kingdom Park. This fan-favorite stage show takes place in front of Cinderella Castle multiple times per day. Check the
Entertainment Schedule, the
My Disney Experience app, or the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom for daily showtimes. Also, Andrew's schedule is always subject to change, so I'm sending you a little pixie dust and keeping my fingers crossed that your son gets to see him!
We also have a summer trip planned, and I have a few tips and tricks to beat the heat. First, try to take a midday break, returning to your hotel for pool time or a nap. If that's not possible, my favorite Magic Kingdom shows with indoor AC are
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress,
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, and
The Hall of Presidents (they can be a good place for a quick nap, too). I also bring cooling towels and refillable water bottles (you can fill them with filtered water at
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe).
Best wishes to you and your son, Mariceli! See ya real soon!
