My son is 8 & is a water slide fanatic. Which water slide/resort/lodging would you recommend? Many of the "places to stay" photos do not show a good view of their water slides. We are looking at a moderate to lower deluxe accommodations. Thx

Hi, Julie!  For a great pool area in a moderate resort, check out Google images for Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter.  You'll find a pretty cool water slide in those photos, My kids love French Quarter, with a sea serpent slide and a water spouting alligator.  Ol' Man Island at Riverside is another great place to find a water slide, and the resort is fun and rustic - perfect for a family vacation!

If you want to bump up to a deluxe resort, one of the  most popular pool areas anywhere at Walt Disney World can be found at Stormalong Bay, the shared pool area between the Yacht and Beach Club resorts.  This is like a mini water park in and of itself, with a water slide, lazy river, and other awesome water features.

And don't forget - if your little guy is a water slide fanatic, there are two water parks that you may want to add into your vacation plans.  Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach should be the perfect spot for a water slide aficionado!

    Have a great vacation!
