My son wants to have a character dinner? Any suggestions other than Mickey Mouse and where to dine? Also which theme park should we spend the most time at?

    Lori,

For just about any family, the Magic Kingdom is the park where you should spend the most time. There is simply more to do there. With kids I plan 2 days at the Magic Kingdom for 1 day each at the other parks. So if I have 5 days, I go 1 day each at Animal Kingdom/Epcot/Hollywood Studios, and 2 days to the Magic Kingdom. If the vacation is longer, I add 1 day at the Magic Kingdom for every day at ANY other park. As much as I love the Animal Kingdom, it rarely needs more than a day, even in a full week's vacation.

As to other character meals, there is the Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom) with Winnie the Pooh and friends for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Donald's Safari Breakfast (Animal Kingdom) with Donald, Mickey, and others, but only for breakfast. Hollywood and Vine (Hollywood Studios) brings a bunch of Playhouse Disney characters to breakfast and lunch, and 'Ohana (Polynesian Resort) has Lilo and Stitch at breakfast.

You might also consider entertainment meals, that are fun but without characters. Send me a question if you want to learn more about those!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
