My son (7) and I will be visiting Disney World in October 2008. We love to go in October, but this time we are arriving the day before Columbus Day. I am sure on the holiday itself it will be crowded, but how about the rest of the week?

I visited WDW on Columbus Day weekend in 2006. I found the crowds to be very manageable. Even with the minor Columbus holiday, October is among the slower months at WDW. And the weather is often fine then too.

I hope you have a great trip.
